Barhale
is one of the fastest growing civil engineering contracting and infrastructure
services companies in Britain, operating to strict principles which have helped
gain it a reputation for delivering quality, sustainability and least environmental
impact. The company decided it would benefit by a stronger visual identity
to reflect its standing and appointed Barrett, Byrd Associates to develop
a corporate style.
This
we did, focusing first on Barhale’s corporate logo (which relfects the
company’s long association with tunnelling) and its corporate colours
of blue and yellow. In close consultation with Barhale executives, we developed
a clean corporate livery that could be applied to everything from helmets
and high visibility jackets to vehicles, plant and equipment, stationery,
mugs, umbrellas and even promotional gifts.
As the key to a successful corporate look is consistent application of livery design, we supplied an extensive style guide which specified dimensions, colours, type faces and so on. The overall result is an attractive and distinctive ‘look’ for Barhale which identifies the company, sets it apart from its competitors and enhances its image.
